The beautiful celebration of her life would not have been possible without you. Your kindness and support allowed us to prepare a ceremony filled with family, friends and loving memories.
While one can prepare as much as possible for losing a loved one, there is never a "good" time for such an event. Our preparations unfortunately fell on a holiday weekend and I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to respond promptly to each email, text or phone call during a time when most folks are enjoying time with their own families. You truly are special people with wonderfully sympathetic hearts and we were blessed to have your support.

I don’t have all the right words to express how I felt through the hardest time of my life. Roger was so sympathetic and helpful over my initial phone call, when I cried and said I didn’t know what I was doing. Celeste you had a great sense of patience with me and my family. Words can’t explain my gratitude towards both Roger and Celeste. My siblings and I felt so grateful to have had all of our questions answered. Mom is proud that we were able to have what she wanted. When the time came you took great care of my mother. At the viewing everyone stated how good she looked. The grave side funeral was exactly what my mother would have wanted. I wanted to thank you and Roger for seeing to it that our mother's funeral was perfect. She looked absolutely beautiful - just the way we remember her from her best years. For 20 years, I was the respite care worker for a mentally disabled man. Over the 20 years, he became family to me. As his health care proxy, in his final days I had to make some very difficult decisions, the hardest being to have him placed on palliative care measures only.

When he passed early in the morning on April 1, 2019, I contacted Rice Funeral Home and asked them to come and take my friend to his final resting place. They were not the first I called the previous evening, but they were the first to truly respond, to give a full cost quote, to talk me through the situation, and to promise to act when John passed. Within the hour after I called to let them know he had passed, they arrived, carefully took John away, and spent the rest of the morning working with his caregivers and myself making the necessary arrangements. They were consummate professionals, knowing that someone like John did not have financial means for anything other than the simplest of services, but treated his case with the same dignity and care of a wealthy person.
I cannot thank them enough for all they did. Celeste and Roger treated him like their family, and I am positive they will do the same for yours. You cannot get better service. Thank you, Celeste and Roger, for all you did.

I used Rice Funeral Home for my sister passing. When it comes time to put a love one to rest this is the place to go. I was fortunate in dealing with Celeste, she made it so easy for me because of the caring, compassionate and professional environment she created. Celeste was great in every aspect, including how to obtain needed documentation. She took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was so much appreciated.
