Yvonne Diane Quiles

MILLBURY – Yvonne Diane Quiles, 52, of Millbury, died Sunday, February 5, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. 

She leaves her husband, Alberto Garcia; two daughters, Joselyn Salgado and Jasmine Garcia; a son , Jonathan Platts; her father Ruben D. Quiles of Puerto Rico, her siblings, Jimmy Orengo, Moises Orengo, Marilyn Orengo, Yvette S. Quiles, Jacqueline Quiles and Sharon Quiles; two grandchildren, Elyna and Sophia Peluyera; and many other family and friends.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Ruben D. Quiles and the late Hilda M. Santiago.

Yvonne worked for Devereux Foster Care Program and Support Services for more than 20 years and was a foster parent.  Yvonne enjoyed life, making people laugh, and touched the hearts and emotions of everyone.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday February 10, 2023 at 6:00 pm at St Bernard’s Church 228 Lincoln St Worcester. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester is assisting the family.    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bernard’s Church, 228 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605.
