WORCESTER – Yvette Lopez, 65, of Worcester, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at home.


She leaves two sons, Omar Morales and his wife Amy Morales of Worcester and José Morales, a granddaughter, Naisha Morales, three sisters, Norma, Julia and Naomi Lopez and many friends. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of José A. Lopez Ortiz and Norma Orlandi and has lived in Worcester for 43 years.  


Yvette was a family counselor at a homeless shelter.  She would babysit everyone’s kids.  She loved playing card games, music, and socializing with her friends.  She was very social and was a mom to everyone.


Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm, with prayers at 12:30 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
