William J. Fernald

WORCESTER, MA - William J. Fernald Jr., a loving father, brother, and uncle passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 at the age of 60.

William (Bill) was born on May 15th, 1961 in Dorchester, MA to William J. Sr. and Margaret (Driscoll) Fernald. He was raised in Bellingham, Massachusetts, and later settled on Webster Lake with his family.  In his most recent years, he lived in the Worcester area surrounded by his close friends.

Bill was a graduate of Bellingham Jr./Sr. High School and served time in the USAF.  Bill was a local business owner for many years.  He was very charitable and offered to help anyone in need that he could.  Bill loved his family, enjoyed spending time on Webster Lake in his earlier years, beach vacations, and loved the Boston Red Sox.  He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

William was preceded in death by his father, Bill. He is survived by his mother, Margaret, daughters Cristina and Julia, granddaughter Josephine, brothers Michael and Scott, and several nieces Ashley, Abby, Ella, and Libby.
