William Briggs Obituary

WORCESTER – William Peter Briggs, 60, of Worcester, died Monday, January 30, 2023.

He leaves two children, Jaimee Briggs Mallet and Aaron Briggs, both of Athol, MA; three siblings, Lianne M. Briggs of Antrim, NH, Terry A. Briggs of Lusby, MD, and David B. Briggs of Nashua, NH; a niece, Crista Pond Klein of Amherst, MA. He was predeceased by a sister, Linda S Pond, and a brother, Robert G. Briggs. He was born in Athol, son of the late Will Nelson Briggs and Elizabeth Helen (Grover) Briggs. He graduated from Athol High School.

William was the owner / operator of Ron's Garage in Athol. He enjoyed time with family, and loved autos, music, nature and animals. He was a member of Athol First Congregational Church.

Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Athol. In lieu of flowers, please perform an act of kindness for someone.
