Tracy O. Gillette Jr. passed away peacefully, Apr 14, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.
He leaves a brother, Christopher Evans of Fitchburg; a sister, Lisa Emery (Jim) of Worcester; his caregivers / friends, Praylynn Briddell and Kate Bagg; many nieces and nephews, especially his niece Nahani Meuse, with whom he lived; and his beloved dogs. He was born in New Orleans, LA, son of Tracy O. Gillette Sr. and Deborah M. (McNally) Gillette.
Tracy was an underwater welder for the New York and New Jersey Navy shipyards.
If you knew Tracy, you know he was certainly a character! Full of crazy, yet true stories of his many adventures! A man with a heart bigger than the ocean, and eyes just as vibrant blue.
Rest in the sweetest peace, Tracy. You stuffed a lot of chaos into your 59 years! And you will be missed tremendously.
