Thimi Korfuzi

WORCESTER – Thimi Korfuzi, 74, of Worcester, died Monday, January 4, 2021 at UMass Memorial – University Campus surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his wife, Stefani (Vasili) Korfuzi; two sons, Rikardo and Peter Korfuzi, both of Worcester; a brother Astrit Korfuzi and his wife Julida of West Roxbury; a sister Azbie Gega and her husband Shaban of Dedham; 20 nieces and nephews.  He was born in Kucove, Albania, son of Nuri and Esma (Kodheli) Korfuzi. 

Thimi was a metal worker at a steel factory in Albania. He enjoyed fishing and going berry picking.  He loved being around his family and spending quality time with them.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Hope Cemetery, Section 99 Webster St, Worcester, with a procession leaving Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave Worcester at noon. Calling hours are private.
