Thi Ngoc Tra Nguyen

WORCESTER – Thi Ngoc Tra Nguyen, 56, of Worcester, died Friday, June 12, 2026 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston after a long battle with cancer.

Her husband, Truong Van Giao, died in April, 2017.  She leaves her children, Truong Van Hai Ban, Truong Thi Kieu Mai, Truong Thi Minh Sang, and Truong Van Tan Dien, her siblings, Nguyen Quoc Dung, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy, Nguyen Ngoc Tam, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Truc, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Trinh, and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tu; her grandchildren, Huynh Dong Quan, Truong Bao Long, and Huynh Khanh Ngan. She was born in Quang Ngai, Viet Nam, daughter of Nguyen Nuong and Truong Dong.   

Thi worked in a wire manufacturing company. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones.

A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 5:00 pm followed by calling hours until 8:00 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. A prayer service will be held Thursday, June 18 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the funeral home, followed by a procession to Rural Crematorium at 10:00 am.
