WORCESTER – Tammy Sheff-Thomas, 59, of Worcester, died Thursday, January 7, 2021 unexpectedly at home.
She leaves five sons, Rodney Hall III, Tyrone Hall, Kevin Parker Jr,, Willie Daniels Jr, and Moses Thomas; four brothers, Bernard, Anthony and Roger Sheff and Melvin Hairston. She also leaves three sisters, Mary and Fredericka Sheff and Deborah Forbes; seven grandchildren, Nyleigh, Tasja, Honesty, Jahzara, Brooklyn, Nehemiah, and Isaiah; and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Martinsville, VA, daughter of the late Rudolph Thomas and Mozella Sheff Hawkins. She lived in Hartford, CT for many years.
Tammy was a Personal Care Assistant at various nursing homes and also cared for people in their homes.
She had a laugh and smile that would light up a room. She was a strong woman having to be a mom and dad to her five boys. She enjoyed a special relationship with her boys’ friends and welcomed them all into her family. She was a devout Christian and attended the Worcester Second Baptist Church. She also enjoyed travelling.
A calling hour and a funeral service will be held Wednesday January 13, 2021 from 10-11:30 am at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave. Burial will be private.
