WORCESTER – Tamairi R. Torres, 36, of Worcester, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at UMass Memorial – University Campus, after an illness.

She leaves her fiancé, Edwin Ruiz, her son, Carlos A/S  Ruiz, her father, Milton Harrigan, her brothers, Cesar, Milton, Misael, Jonathan, and Xavier; her cousins who were like siblings, Carmen Lanzo, Epifanio Lanzo, and Alex Lanzo; her aunt Maria Perez; her in-laws, Yolanda Ruiz, Carlos Hernandez, Maria Ruiz, Kianna Carrasquillo, and Marcial Ruiz.  She was predeceased by her mother, Raquel Torres.   She was born in Worcester. 

Tamairi worked in home health care as a personal care assistant.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:30 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.  A graveside service will be held Friday, March 27 at Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St, section 115B at 11: 00 am.
