WORCESTER – Tai Van Le, 88, of Worcester, died Sunday, March 23, 2025 at UMass Memorial – University Campus.
His wife, Thanh My La, died in 2016. He leaves a son, Thien Le and his wife Kimchi Mai of Worcester, their daughter Kim Thiện Lê, his grandchildren Vi Le Nguyen and Vinh Le Nguyen (Thao’s daughter and son), a niece who was like a daughter to him, Mai Phuong Ton, a brother Hung Van Le and his wife Tuoi Pham, a brother-in-law Tinh La and his wife Nga Nguyen, a brother-in-law Tan La, a sister-in-law Tuyet La, and many nieces and nephews. Tai also leaves many grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Thao Phuong Thi Le ,his son-in-law Ngon Nguyen and many brothers and sisters. He was born in Bien Hoa, Vietnam, son of Cong Van Le and Can Thi Pham and has lived in Worcester for 28 years.
Tai was a grade school teacher in Vietnam. He enjoyed watching TV and soccer games.
Tai’s funeral will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025. Family will meet at 9:30 am at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, and follow in procession to Hope Cemetery.
