Steven Boyle Kirk

AUBURN – Steven Boyle Kirk, 69, of Auburn, died Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at UMass Memorial – University Campus after a long battle with esophageal cancer.

He leaves his wife and partner of 33 years, Denise (Desjardins) Kirk, a brother Joel, his nieces Kaitlyn and Leah; a sister, Deborah and his niece Jamie.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late John W. Kirk Jr. and Beatrice R. (Boyle) McNamara.  He attended UMass Amherst. 

Steven was a financial advisor, retirement planning counselor, and franchise owner for Ameriprise Financial for 45 years.  He really enjoyed golf, football, and fishing.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Faith Church, 22 Faith Ave, Auburn.  Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.  There are no calling hours.  Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Worcester Animal Rescue League or the Pat Brady Animal Shelter in Lunenburg, MA.
