HUDSON – Shawn Michael McIntire, 51, died Saturday, April 11, 2026 at his daughter’s home in Hudson MA.  He resided in Gardner MA but lived in Hudson prior for over 17 years.

He leaves two daughters, Samantha A. Doucette and her husband David J. Doucette of Hudson, and Madelyn P. McIntire of Hudson; a step-son, Bryan J. Seymour of Berlin; his mother Susan J. Chevalier and her boyfriend of many years, John Jacavanco of Danvers; a sister, Shannon M. McIntire of Danvers; his former wife, Shannon A. McIntire of Berlin; one grandson Mason, twin granddaughters, Amelia and Charlotte. He was born in Salem, MA.

Shawn worked in the auto industry for over 20 years.  He worked at “The Garage” in Hudson, National Tire & Battery and Sears as a Service Manager for many years.  He loved sports, fishing, music, playing guitar, drawing, collecting coins, and playing cards.  He loved his family more than anything and always put them first.  Shawn had lifelong friends in the Gardner and Danvers areas.  He was loved and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

A celebration of life for Shawn will be held Sunday May 17, 2026 from 1-5 pm at the Hudson Elks 99 Park Street Hudson, MA . Please join Shawn's family and friends in remembering and honoring his life. Food and a cash bar will be available.
