Severa DeRivera Obituary
WORCESTER – Severa DeRivera, 99, of Worcester, died Sunday, April 5, 2026 at Lanessa Extended Care, Webster after a brief stay.
Her husband, Virgilio Rivera, died in 2011. She leaves a daughter, Ruth Lucero and her husband Hector of Worcester, two brothers in Puerto Rico, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. She was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, daughter of Juan Vargas and Marcelina Rivera.
She enjoyed cooking. She was a Missionary. Severa was very involved in her Pentecostal Movement Church.
Services will be held privately. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Avenue, is assisting the family.
