PAXTON – Sandra A. Kocher, 90, of Paxton, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at St. Mary’s Health Care Center, 39 Queen St, Worcester.
She leaves a nephew, Brett Kocher of Rohnert Park, CA. She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence T. Kocher, in 2019. She was born in Queens, New York, daughter of Alfred L. and Margaret (Taylor) Kocher. She graduated from Oberlin College in Ohio and Columbia University in New York City.
Sandra was a professor in the Art Department at Worcester State University. A lifelong lover of the outdoors, she enjoyed nature, gardening, and hiking the trails of New England and the Eastern United States.
Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
