It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, Ryan Elliott Searby Wilkes, on June 11th 2024. Born in Worcester, MA, Ryan brought love and laughter to those who loved and knew him throughout his 45 years of life on this earth.
Ryan's memory will be lovingly cherished by his daughter, Kyleigh Wilkes; his mother, Kathy Roseen, his stepfather, Bruce Roseen; his father, John Wilkes; his sister, Carra Merrill, brother-in-law, Drew Merrill, along with their daughter, Ella Merrill; his brother, Kevin Moyer-Wilkes, sister-in-law, Gwen Moyer-Wilkes, and their children, Emerson, Harrison, and Genevieve Moyer-Wilkes and his brother, Nathan Wilkes. Ryan is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him immensely. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sandra Ansaldi.
Ryan graduated from Shrewsbury High School, class of 1997 in Shrewsbury, MA, before pursuing higher education at North Park University, and his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration & Management at Wayland Baptist University in Lubbock, TX.
Ryan was a man of many talents, possessing an array of handyman skills, knowledge of cars, and a can-do attitude. His career spanned various roles in manufacturing maintenance and product management, where he was known for his dedication and dependable nature.
A lover of the outdoors, Ryan was most at ease when fishing, boating, and hiking; especially when sharing the experience with those he loved. He had a passion for singing and possessed an immense appreciation of music beginning at a young age. He was known for getting up to sing karaoke whenever the opportunity arose or breaking out into song when the mood struck. Ryan was cherished for his infectious laughter, sense of humor, and love of making others laugh through his funny stories, jokes, and pranks.
A memorial service to celebrate Ryan's life will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11 AM at Heritage Bible Chapel, located at 182 Brooks Station Rd, Princeton, MA.
Ryan's warmth, humor, and zest for life touched the hearts of so many people. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by those who had the privilege of loving and knowing him.
Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
