Romeo Bakalli Obituary

WORCESTER – Romeo Bakalli, 55, of Worcester, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.

He is preceded in death by his late sister Donika Merko and his late mother Merjeme Bakalli of Worcester, Mass. He leaves two sons, Franc Bakalli, Matheus Bakalli, his former wife Nikoleta Bakalli of Winchendon Massachusetts, and his nephew Dorian Merko of Worcester. He was born in Pogadec, Albania, and arrived in the states in 1999.

Romeo was a customer service attendant at Walmart in Northborough. He enjoyed helping his friends and loved playing soccer. He played in the local Worcester World Cup event in the years of 2006-2009 with the Albanian team.

Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial at Hope Cemetery was held privately.
