WORCESTER - Roger J. Caouette Jr, 74, of Worcester, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Lutheran Home, Harvard Street, Worcester after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife of 45 years, Mary Ellen (Ciru) Caouette, a son, Peter Caouette of Worcester, a daughter, Racheal Caouette of Worcester; a brother, six sisters including Virginia and her husband Ed; a brother-in-law, James Ciru and his wife Mary of Worcester; two grandchildren, Damien and Artemis Caouette of Worcester; many nieces and nephews.  Roger was predeceased by two sisters.  He also leaves Moomoo his rabbit and Dusty his cat.  He was born in Worcester, son of Roger J. Caouette Sr. and Agnes M. (Anderson) Caouette.

Roger was a caretaker for the City of Worcester Public Works Department.  He loved fishing and hunting and all his animals. Roger enjoyed Classic Rock and old movies. He also loved Westerns and Cop shows.

Funeral services are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  Burial will be at Hope Cemetery on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at 10 am, Section 97.
