Obituary
WORCESTER – Robert Bermudez, 58, Worcester, died Friday, June 17, 2022 at home after an illness, surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his wife of 41 years, Maria I. (Ramos) Bermudez; his son Robert Bermudez Jr of Worcester and his daughter, Marylu Bermudez of Worcester; his daughter Kelsy and son Manny Bermudez of Florida, two brothers, Lionel Bermudez and William Martinez, both of Worcester; four sisters, Lidia Rivera, Migna Bermudez, Doris Martinez, and Idia Bermudez, all of Worcester, a grandson Javian Pena of Worcester, a grandson Ariel Flores of Worcester; two other grandkids from Florida, many nieces and nephews. He was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, son of Antonio Bermudez and Dolores Martinez.
Robert was an HVAC contractor for many years. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a baseball player in the community. He enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball.
A funeral service will be held at noon of Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are June 21 from 9:00 am – 11:30 am at the funeral home.
