MILLBURY – Richard T. Smith, 72, of Millbury, died Monday, November 27, 2023 at The Meadows, Leicester.

He leaves his friend Charlie Adams and his wife Kathy of Millbury, along with their children and grandchildren, Christie and Cassidy, and Steven and Shelby.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Alan L. Smith, and Gary A. Smith, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was born in Worcester, son of Arthur C. and Rita A. (Marando) Smith, and he lived in South Grafton before moving to Millbury in 1960. He attended Millbury Memorial High School.

Richard worked for Buck Brothers Knife Manufacturing. He was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Parish, Millbury, and he enjoyed old cars.

Services will be held privately per Richard’s request.  Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester and Turgeon Funeral Home, Millbury.
