WORCESTER – Richard James McDonald, 59, of Worcester, died Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves a son, Michael Newman of Worcester; his mother Catherine M. (Fugare) Rivera of Worcester; and a sister, Kathleen McDonald of Worcester. He was predeceased by his grandparents Maude and Donald Fugere. He was born in Marlborough, son of the late Bernard J. McDonald and Catherine M. (Fugere) Rivera. He graduated from Westborough High School.
Richard was a self- employed carpenter and handyman. He enjoyed spending time with his son Michael.
Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
