Priscilla M. (Allen) Rea

WORCESTER – Priscilla M. (Allen) Rea, 92 of Worcester, died Thursday, August 26, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. 

Her husband of 36 years, James V. Rea, died in 2003.  She leaves three sons, Ron Gifford and his wife Nigar of Worcester, David Gifford of Worcester, and Jamie Rea of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Diane Gifford of Rockland, ME and Gloria Johnson and her husband Robert of Holden; seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter Joanne Ihebom.  She was born in Haverhill, daughter of  Herbert M. and Mildred E. (Page) Allen, and lived here most of her life.  She graduated from Commerce High School. 

Priscilla was a member of the former Park Congregational Church in Worcester.  She enjoyed baking, reading, crossword puzzles, cribbage, and Bingo.

A graveside service will be held privately in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.   Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 9 from 10 to 11:30 am followed by a sharing of memories from 11:30 am – noon at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation (garysinisefoundation.org).
