WORCESTER – Philip N. Sciascia Jr, 82, of Worcester, died Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Rose Monahan Hospice, after an illness.


He leaves his wife of 61 years, Patricia A. (McAdam) Sciascia, two sons, Michael Sciascia and his wife Lisa of Millbury, and Philip Sciascia III and his wife Kimberly of Worcester; a daughter, Gina Trafecante of Rutland; two brothers-in-law, John and Jim McAdam; two sisters-in-law, Kathleen Patterson and Sharleen McAdam; six grandchildren, Anthony  Trafecante IV and his partner Kristen, Carissa Coakley and her husband Timothy, Brianna  Cerrone and her husband Daniel, Marlena Minnicucci and her husband Kyle, Nicholas Sciascia, and Kailey Sciascia; seven great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Violett, Juliett, Anthony, Nicolas, Leo, and Isabella; many nieces and nephews, and many friends.  He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Anthony Trafecante III in 2016.  He was born in Worcester, son of Philip N. Sr. and Frances E. (Scerra) Sciascia.  He graduated from South High, Class of 1961.


Philip was a foreman for Starr Container.  He was also owner of Traditions Limousine Company.  He loved bowling, fishing, boating, RV’ing, traveling in the USA, and especially being with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 


Philip’s funeral will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
