Peter Edmonds

WORCESTER – Peter Edmonds, 62, of Worcester, died Sunday, March 6, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital.

He leaves five brothers, Isaiah B. Edmonds and his wife Marthann of Hope Mills, North Carolina, David B. Edmonds of East Hartford, Connecticut, Reverend Melvin J. Edmonds and his wife Willene of Conyers, Georgia, Stephen Edmonds of Worcester, and James B. Edmonds and his wife Pamela of Dudley; four sisters, Emma R. Nelson and her spouse Peter Tuffour Boating of Worcester, Sandra V. Edmonds of Worcester, Tracy M. Edmonds of Worcester, and Leslie Davis of Torrington, Connecticut and her spouse Rubyn; a vast number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.  He is predeceased by three brothers, Ray Edmonds, Roger L. Edmonds and John E. Edmonds.  Born in Worcester, the son of the late Elders Mathus and Virginia (Patterson) Edmonds, Peter graduated from North High School in Worcester.

Peter was a store clerk at local gas stations.  He was a member of the Christ Tabernacle Apostolic Church on Main St in Worcester.  He enjoyed tinkering with electronic equipment and advancing his skills with video games.

From the family: We are also proud to give special recognition to Mr. Joseph Morin of Barre, who went far above and beyond proving himself better than a loyal friend to Peter, especially in our brother’s most required times of need.

A viewing and memorial service will be held at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Pak Ave. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from noon until 2pm.  Burial will be private.
