HOLDEN - Paul Douglas Roy, 81, of Jefferson, died in his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 5, 2025.
He leaves his wife of 51 years, Lena (Bakerlis) Roy; two daughters, Renee Ciampi and her husband Richard of Jefferson and Nicole Tetrault of Jefferson; a brother Gerald Roy and his wife Elaine of Sutton; a sister Janet DiBenedetto and her husband William of N. Oxford; five grandchildren, Dominic Ciampi, Marco Ciampi, Roman Ciampi, Gianni Ciampi and Aidan Tetrault; several nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of Norman J. and Leona (Reid} Roy. He Graduated from Worcester Vocational School.
Paul was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an auto mechanic for most of his professional career. After retirement, he especially cherished spending time with his family and many years of vacationing with his wife and his favorite traveling companions Mike and Donna DiTaranto of Rutland.
Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave. Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org).
