Patricia S. Kapulka

CHERRY VALLEY - Patricia Sue Kapulka, 70, of Cherry Valley, died Friday, October 11, 2024 at Rose Monahan Hospice, Worcester.

She was born in Toledo, Ohio in 1954 to Muriel R. (Munsell) O’Donnell and Malcom Cameron.  She had four older siblings and one younger.  She is survived by her children, Lisa Langmaid and her husband PJ of Colorado and William G. Kapulka and his partner Karen Miller of Worcester, two grandchildren, Willam G. Kapulka Jr. of Worcester and Brook Langmaid of Colorado, two sisters, Debra Nichols of Cherry Valley and Kathy Fay of Athol, many nieces and nephews, including Kelly Moisan of Connecticut and John Nichols of Grafton, and her grandnephews Anthony and Brenden.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Muriel O’Donnell, her stepfather John O’Donnell, her brothers William Clark and John J. Marino, and her sister Catherine “Kay” Kaczmarczyk. 

Patricia was the owner of Bill’s Roofing & Siding Company in Worcester for many years.  Previously she was a manager at KFC and loved feeding the less fortunate and homeless.  She was known for her big heart and smile.  She was always giving.  As a young single mother, she was always a hard worker and a strong woman.   Her children meant the world to her, and she loved being a grandmother.  She loved the ocean, flowers, gardening and her family. 

We will miss her every day.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  Burial will be private.  A calling hour will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.  before the funeral at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spencer Food Bank, 46 Maple Street, Spencer MA 01562.
