WORCESTER – Olwen Elizabeth Norquist, 60, of Worcester, died Monday, January 22, 2024 at home.
She leaves a long-time friend, Karen Delage of Maine, her Goddaughter Jody Grigarauskas of Dudley, her godson, Andrew Delage of Florida, her former husband, Stephen Peckham of Petersham, and many cousins and their families. She was predeceased by a sister, Judith S. Flint and her stepfather Frank Reardon. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Kenneth Norquist and Elizabeth (Layte) Norquist Reardon.
Olwen was a care provider for people with disabilities. She worked in a group home and was also a bus monitor. She loved going to the beach, especially Weir Beach in New Hampshire. She enjoyed watching wrestling. She loved her cat Benny and all animals. She loved being with her friends and family.
Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave. Donations may be made to the Second Chance Animal Clinic, 831 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01610 (secondchanceanimals.org/donate).
