Noemi (Alvarez) Pagan

WORCESTER – Noemi Pagan, 88, of Worcester, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at UMass Memorial – University Campus.

She leaves her children, Luz Pagan and her husband Orlando Rosado, Antonio Pagan, Rosalind Pagan, Ray Pagan, Millie Pagan and Radmes Pagan, all of Worcester.  Noemi leaves 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many step-siblings, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 2 daughters Lillian and Aurora Pagan.  She was born in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico, daughter of Camelo Alvarez and Maria Velez Alvarez. 

Noemi was a factory worker in Puerto Rico.  She enjoyed life and being with her family. She enjoyed jewelry making, cooking and all her plants.

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Peter’s Church, 929 Main St, Worcester.  Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.  Calling hours are Monday, February 28 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
