WORCESTER – Mimoza F. Treska, 57, of Worcester, died Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at UMass Memorial – University Campus after an illness.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 36 years, Emil Treska, her two cherished daughters, Gina Treska and Loria Kawaji, and her beloved grandson, Zayden Kawaji. She was born in Korce, Albania, the treasured daughter of Fatmir and Hena Rezhda.

Mimoza was a dental assistant at the Worcester Dental Group.  Outside of work she enjoyed cooking homemade meals, tending to her flowers, and lovingly decorating her house. Her greatest happiness, however, came from being “Nena” to her grandson and steady heart and anchor of her family. Mimoza was a great friend to many and always knew what to say. 

A Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury St, Worcester.   A calling hour will be held at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 am before the service.   Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.  Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
