WARE – Melissa Lisa (Trainor) Whitman, 54, of Ware, died Friday, May 17, 2024 at home, following an illness. 

She leaves her children, Jeffrey Trainor, Shaneka Whitman, Brandon Dibble, Shashmine Andrews, and Heather Andrews; her niece and nephew, Jayla Trainor and Jeremy Rawdon; her siblings, Melinda Tobey, John Trainor, Sean Wareing, Charles Trainor, Andrew Trainor, and Jason Bailey; her twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and her other nieces, nephews, aunts and uncle, extended family, and friends.   She was predeceased by a brother, Joshua M. Vanderburgh in 2016.  She was born in Springfield, daughter of John L. and Cheryl A. (Maynard) Trainor. 

Melissa enjoyed tattooing, traveling, decorating, gardening, cosmetology, singing, listening to music, and spending quality time with her family. She had a big heart and would do anything for anyone without a second thought.  She shared her passion for love of life. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Hardwick Winery, 3305 Greenwich Rd, Hardwick, MA.  Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
