AUBURN – Mary V. (Cleveland) Dixon, 82, of Auburn, died Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at home, after an illness.
She leaves four children, Tina Dixon and her husband David of Webster, David Dixon and his wife Debbie of Virginia, Deborah Gleason and her husband John of Auburn, and James Dixon and his wife LeeAnne of Dudley; a sister, Velma Melvin of Rochester, NH; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, James Dixon. She was born in Ware, MA, daughter of James W. and Bertha V. (Tucker) Cleveland. She graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester.
Mary worked at the T.J. Maxx warehouse in Worcester for 15 years. She previously worked at the Ames warehouse in Worcester for 10 years. She enjoyed her lifelong hobby of knitting and crocheting, making beautiful items for family and friends.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Notre Dame Hospice, 555 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605.
