WORCESTER – Mary E. Connelly, 68, of Worcester, died Thursday, October 24, 2024 at UMass Memorial – University Campus after an illness.

She leaves two sons, Jeremy Figueroa of Worcester and Keilen Connelly of Worcester, her siblings, Barbara Michaluk of Olney, MD, Candace Hardy of Santa Fe, NM, Barry Connelly of Worcester, MA Donna Gurley of East Bridgewater, MA, and Christine Stetkiewicz of Wendell, NC; two grandchildren, Anthony and Veanna Figueroa, several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son, Francis Figueroa and a brother, Richard Connelly.  She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Francis Connelly and Mary Fegan.  She received an associate’s degree in nursing at Quinsigamond Community College.

Mary was a registered nurse for over 20 years.  She enjoyed going to the beach, spending time with the family, and the color purple.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 22, from 5 to 7pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
