LEOMINSTER, MA – Marvin Lewis Phillips, 58, of Fitchburg, MA, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 2, 2023 at UMass Memorial HealthAlliance - Clinton Hospital, Leominster Campus. 

He leaves two sisters, Shirley Jean Phillips and Joyce Ann Phillips, three brothers, John Henry Phillips, Timmie Phillips and Frederick Smith; his former wife, April (Allen) Phillips, many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents Helen and Cliff Canady, three sisters, Patricia Ann Phillips, Mary Helen Phillips, and Brenda Kaye Phillips, and one brother Ray Lester Phillips.  He was born in Buffalo, Texas, son of Helen (Smith) Phillips and Cliff Canady.

Marvin was a mold technician at CFP, Inc in Ayer, MA.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and drag car racing.

Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, MA.
