GARDNER – Mark Steven Russell, 64, of Gardner, died Sunday, July 10, 2022 at UMass Memorial – University Campus.

He leaves a son, Travis Mark Russell.  He was born in Fitchburg, son of Theodore S. Russell Sr and Dorothy B. (Jantti) Russell. 

Mark was a construction worker.  He was a U.S. Army veteran. He embodied hard work with a indestructible will.  He enjoyed being the life of the party.  He loved writing and creating poetry.  He always sought to bring joy to everyone he could throughout his life in whatever forms the moment would allow.  He left behind a legacy of beautiful and fun memories. The echoes of him will remain with us forever.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 23, 2022 from 2-4 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
