STERLING – Maria E. Morales, 89, died Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Sterling Village Skilled Nursing And Rehabilitation Center, Dana Hill Road, Sterling. 

She leaves six children, Carmen Morales-Suarez, Madeleine Velázquez, Margarita Morales, Jorge Morales, Javier Morales, and Mayra Miglionico, two siblings, Betzaida Colon and Amador Colon, six grandsons and three granddaughters, several nieces and nephews.  She was born in Islote, Puerto Rico, daughter of Amador Colon and Maria Vazquez

Maria enjoyed cooking, sewing, participating in church activities, spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Leicester.  Calling hours are Thursday, 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
