WORCESTER – Margaret I. J. (MacDougall) Vasil, 78, of Worcester, died Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at UMass Memorial – University Campus.
Her husband, Philip S. Vasil, died in 2014. She leaves a daughter, Christina MacDonald and her husband Brian of Worcester, with whom she lived; two brothers, Joseph MacDougall of Mabou, Nova Scotia and Lloyd MacDougall of Inverness, Nova Scotia; two grandchildren, Ainsley and Cameron of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Margaret was born in Inverness, Nova Scotia, daughter of Dougald and Kristena MacDougall and has lived here since 1960.
Margaret was the most selfless, kindest person on earth. She loved her grandchildren more than anything. She also loved her pets.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
