Magie Ortiz

WORCESTER – Magie (Rivera Quinones) Ortiz, 55, of Worcester, went to heaven Sunday, October 24, 2021 at home.

She leaves her three children, Sheila Ivelisse Miranda Rivera, Denisse Miranda Rivera, and Orlando Paul Ortiz, whom she found pride in and loved deeply. Magie leaves behind husband, Orlando Ortiz. Grandchildren that she cherished; Alex, Amaris, Danny, Day, Tatianna, Josiah, Nathanael, Arielle, Julian, Isaiah and Kenny. Magie leaves sisters Diana, Marilyn and a brother Jose, along with many nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Nilda and both parents. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, daughter of Santos Rivera and Iris Quinones.

Magie was a machine operator most of her life, she was a hard worker in everything she did. She had so much grace, she found joy in giving to others. Magie was a great daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend, cook, listener and advisor. She enjoyed listening to music (gospel music), going to church, praying, reading (the bible), playing with grandchildren, planting, watching tv, and going to the park. She was a great roller skater when she was younger. Magie is loved and will be missed by many, she was a good person to all who knew her. May she sleep in peace.

Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
