WORCESTER – Luz Pagan, 69, of Worcester, died Monday, December 30, 2024 at UMass Memorial – University Campus after an illness.


She leaves her husband, Orlando Rosado; two sons, Jesus D. Addarich of Worcester and Horacio Ortiz and his wife Amanda of Alabama; two daughters, Jennifer Maya of Worcester and Maribel Pagan of Connecticut; her good friends Alma Acosta, Sonia Torres and Wanda Castillo; three brothers, Antonio Pagan, Ray Pagan, and Radmes Pagan, all of Worcester; two sisters, Millie Pagan and Rosalind Pagan, bother of Worcester, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a baby boy, Jermain Otiz, and two sisters, Lillian and Aurora Pagan.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Esteban Pagan and Noemi (Alvarez) Pagan.


A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Peter’s Church, 929 Main St, Worcester.  Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.  Calling hours are Monday, January 6  from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
