Obituary

WORCESTER – Lea (Gregarczyk) Kizis, 66, of Worcester, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at home.

She leaves two daughters, Tasha Hazard and her husband Louis Hazard of Worcester, and Marcy Kennan of Oakham, a son Herbert Kennan III of Connecticut; her mother, Lea Gregarczyk and her sister, Ramona Gregarczyk; six grandchildren, Taylor, Ryan, William, and Paige Perkins, all of Worcester, Lorenzo Hazard of Worcester and Cassius Jenner of Oakham; nephews and nieces.  She also leaves her partner of many years, Richard Nickerson of Worcester. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Gregarczyk.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of Lea (Augustus) Gregarczyk and the late Joseph Gregarczyk. 

Lea worked in the restaurant industry for many years.  She liked sewing, gardening and spending time in the country. 

A funeral service will be held at a date to be announced at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
