Laurie J. (Leo) Bullard

WORCESTER – Laurie J. (Leo) Bullard, 62, of Worcester, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.

Laurie is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Kenneth Leo and his wife Angela of Florida, Annette Broberg of Worcester, Catherine Partridge and her husband Kenneth of Charlton, Raymond Leo of Auburn, and Jennifer Leo-Bubar of Oakham.  She also leaves nieces and nephews, Ashley Broberg, Brad Broberg, Michael Caldwell, Raymond Leo II, Tia Leo, Tyson Goldstein, Michelle Leo-de Verbigier, and Wendy Johnson; grand-nephews and nieces Noah Bosse, Kevin Sweeney, Sebastian and Gabrielle de Verbigier; and her friend Niki.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of Emanuel J. and Lois R. (Prior) Leo.  She graduated from Doherty Memorial High in 1972.

Laurie was the manager of Manny's Nightclub in Oxford for 17 years, which was owned by her father. She served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. She was an active lifetime member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Worcester where she loved volunteering her time working at Fun/Fab Fridays and making meals for the Interfaith Hospitality Network.  Laurie loved helping others and cherished her family.  She was a giver and a friend to all.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 20 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Irving St, Worcester.  There are no calling hours.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester is in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Sunday School and Youth Restricted Fund, 10 Irving St, Worcester, MA 01609-3210.
