FRAMINGHAM – Karen Ann (Kimball) Stamuli, 76, of Framingham, died Monday, July 31, 2023 at home.
Karen is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Theodore “Ted” Stamuli; a son, Gregory T. and his wife Colleen Stamuli of Westborough; a daughter, Gina S. and her husband John Foody of Doylestown, PA; four brothers, Kenneth and his wife Kathleen Kimball of Daniel Island, South Carolina, Kevin and his wife Lindsay Kimball of Framingham, Kris and his wife Janet Kimball of Upton, and Kerry and his wife Celeste Kimball of Southborough; a sister, Kathleen and her husband Michael Macura of Harwich; six grandchildren, Cailin, Teddy, and Charlie Stamuli, and Emma, Grace and Jack Foody; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Mary Verdy. Karen was born in Framingham, daughter of Kenneth W. and Mary A. (Morris) Kimball. She received an associate degree at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.
Karen worked as a library aid at Potter Road School for 35 years and was adored by students and colleagues. Loved baking goodies for others, enjoyed family beach time in Cape Cod and Ogunquit, Maine, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She served as a Sunday school teacher and parish council secretary for many years.
Karen and Ted's marriage exemplified the true meaning of love and togetherness. You could always find them enjoying each other’s company in the comforts of their sweet home, holding hands and spreading joy to family and friends. They were the epitome of togetherness.
The funeral will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023 at noon at Annunciation Albanian Orthodox Church, 37 Washington St, Natick. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held in the church from 10:00 am to noon before the funeral. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Annunciation Albanian Orthodox Church, 37 Washington St, Natick, MA 01760. If flowers are sent, please send them directly to the church.
