Justin Rose Obituary

WORCESTER – Justin Michael Rose, 41, of Worcester, died Thursday, April 10, 2025 at UMass Memorial – University Campus after a battle with cancer, exacerbated by his Cystic Fibrosis.

He leaves his wife, Kristin (LaBaire) Rose, and two stepdaughters, Candace and LeAnn LaBaire, as well as his granddaughter, Aurora LaBaire. He is also survived by his sister, Katrina Rose, and her sons, Cael and Kain. He leaves behind his half-sister, Renee, and many aunts and uncles who loved him, including his uncle Ronald Pong and his wife Sharron Giorgio, who helped raise him after the death of his mother.  He was also very close to his "second family," Elaine Palermo and her late husband Patrick Palermo, along with their daughters, Rachel Rodgers and Tara Langlais.  Justin was also very lucky to have a longtime best friend, Lucas Thibaudeau.

Most recently, Justin worked as a diamond-certified salesman at Zales Jewelers. He had a passion for geology and crystals.  He loved country music, exotic cuisine, and playing darts - having previously competed in the Worcester Dart League. He was happiest at the beach or enjoying game nights with friends.

Justin was born in Worcester, the son of the late Cheryl Ann (Pong) Rose and Donald Henry Rose.  He graduated from Wachusett High School and later earned a certificate as a diamond analyst.

His family lovingly describe Justin as a strong, brave, and stubborn man. He was a hardworking, devoted family man who met life’s challenges with quiet strength and a steady mix of humor and sarcasm.  He will be dearly missed.
