Julia Guelen Obituary

WORCESTER – Julia Guelen, 72, of Worcester, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at UMass Memorial – University Campus.

She leaves her daughter, Maria Aponte of Worcester and five grandsons. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, daughter of Vidal Guelen and Maria Alvarez and has lived here since 2017.

Julia loved singing and dancing. She liked to do word puzzles and make bracelets. Maria’s five sons loved her, for them she was their grandmother.

Funeral services will be held privately in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
