WORCESTER – Judith M. (Bowers) Laliberte-Sweet, 80, of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of the Worcester area, died in her home Friday, May 26, 2017.

She leaves a lot of sad family members including her husband of 29 years, Russell H. Sweet, her sister, Jackie Deschane of California; son Paul Laliberte of Florida, daughters Pam Laliberte of Auburn, Patti-Ann Thibault and her husband Fabian Thibault of Auburn; son Mark Laliberte of Worcester; and her favorite Aunt, Gayle Dalbec of Auburn.  She also leaves two step-children, Steven Sweet of Auburn, and Sherri Chabre of South Carolina, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her brothers Billy and Michael. She was born in Keene, NH, daughter of Merton and Ethel (Gray) Bowers, and spent most of her life in the Worcester area, retiring to Florida 39 years ago.

Her door was always open to anyone in need and she will be greatly missed.  She was crazy for people. She took in everyone that needed some love and made them feel home and welcome. She raised her sister and brother along with her four children and countless others that needed a home.  She was an artist. Her beautiful creations were something she was very proud of. Her dolls can be seen in the home of whomever wanted one.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 11:00 am at the home of her daughter Patti-Ann and Fabian, 30 Franklin St, Auburn, MA.  All family and friends are welcome.
