WORCESTER – Juana (Quiles) Albino, 92, Worcester, died Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Her husband, Blas Albino, died in 1998. She leaves her children, Nelson Albino and his girlfriend Anna Martinez of Worcester, Francisco and his wife Bonnie of Worcester, Carmen Albino of Worcester, Carlos Albino and his wife Jennifer of Worcester and Blas Albino Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; her boyfriend of 25 years, Luis Cancel of Worcester; her siblings, Amelia Quiles of Puerto Rico, Carmen Quiles of Worcester, and Papo Quiles of Buffalo, NY; two daughter in-laws, Nora and Cathy Albino, both of Worcester; 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children Angel, Rosa, Raul and Jose, one sister and three brothers. She was born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, daughter of Flor and Maria (Morales) Quiles and has lived in Worcester for many years.
Juana enjoyed cooking for a crowd and spending time with her family. Her job before becoming a full-time mom was at a pineapple farm in Puerto Rico.
A funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave. Burial will be held privately . Calling hours are Thursday from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
