Joseph F. Piscitelli

WORCESTER - Joseph F. Piscitelli, Jr., 67, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at UMass Memorial – University Campus.

He leaves two daughters, Kayla Baillargeon of Worcester and Tiffany Richetts of Connecticut; a sister Ann-Marie Tettis of Millbury; 7 grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jazmin, Jordan, Dominic, Eliana, Thalia, and Cataleya. His sons-in-law: Victor Almodovar and Amaury Gutierrez; and foster daughter Sharon Schmidt, several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many friends.  Joseph was predeceased by his fiancé and love of his life Beth Ann Richetts.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Joseph F. Piscitelli, Sr. and Jacqueline (Ryan) Piscitelli.  He graduated from North High School.

Joseph was a taxicab driver for Red Cab Company.  He was a U.S. Marine veteran serving in their fire corps.  He was a member of Valley Chapel Church and Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

He enjoyed mainly spending time with his grandchildren and family, Sunday game nights playing gin rummy 500 and spades, going to the beach, amusement parks, watching movies/shows about anything that had to with firefighters and marines, researching science and medical, Red Sox and New England Patriots, creating nicknames for everyone and having his own special sayings, eating food and cooking, loved all animals, driving taxi cab, and always being there for and helping anyone that came into his life.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025 at 10:00 am at Valley Chapel, 14 Hunter Road, Uxbridge, MA.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, is assisting the family with arrangements.
