Jose Damian Lopez Rodriguez

WORCESTER - Jose Damian Lopez Rodriguez, 25, of Worcester, died Sunday, January 8, 2023 at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

He leaves his parents, Jose M. Lopez of New Jersey and Ruth Esther Acevedo Rodriguez of the Dominican Republic; a son, Jose Dariel López Bueno, three brothers, especially Andelin Rodriguez of Worcester, and seven sisters; the mother of his son, Johanna Bueno Diaz of Bronx, NY.  He was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

Jose was a taxi driver.  He loved to cook, he enjoyed listening to music, he was very kind, protective, noble, and brave. He was a great father, brother, and son.

In your life path, ever since you were a kid, you've always been a warrior and a fighter. You never put a limit to what life threw at you. You were and will always be a great son who would never stop worrying about your mother; a brother who would always worry about your siblings, always available through any problems; a father who gave his life and more for your son; a wonderful grandchild and nephew.  You had your flaws, but your strengths were even bigger! You were always there for your family, no matter what your mood was or situation you were in. You never hesitated to help others when in need.  Your laugh and charisma made anyone who would cross paths with you be marked forever.  This is because you would win over the hearts of those of us who were lucky to have crossed paths with you, even if it was hard for you to open to people.  We are very fortunate to have had a connection with Damian!

Damian, at only 15 years of age you met the adult life and were never able to be a kid ever since. You laughed, cried, you would fall but would lift yourself right back up because there was no option to stay fallen.  No matter how destroyed you where you would always go out to the world and give your best self.

So many plans, so many dreams, so many wishes, so many undone trips, so many ungiven hugs; today you take it all with you!  Ever since 1/7/2023 our days have been grey, with no color, nights with no light!  

God sent for his warrior who he had on earth so he could go fight with him in heaven! God added a warrior to his army and gifted us an angel!!

Those who leave us don't die! Those who are forgotten are the ones who die! And you will never be forgotten!  

Always and forever, you will live in your family Jose Damian!!

Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.   Burial will be in the Dominican Republic.
