José Arevalo Obituary
WORCESTER – José Arevalo, 61, of Worcester, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Ana De Arevalo; five children, José Arevalo and his wife Gloria of Florida, Aury Garcia of Worcester, Franklin Arevalo of Worcester, Angel Arevalo of Worcester, and Sulma Carreno and her husband Rubin of Worcester; his mother, Maria Arevalo of El Salvador; a sister, Areceli Centeno and her husband Jorge of Guatemala; eight grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was born in Ahuachapan, El Salvador, son of Antonio Aguirre and Maria Arevalo.
José worked as a janitor for Verizon in Worcester.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 13, 2020 at St. Paul’s Cathedral, 38 High St, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, section Gospels. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
