SUDBURY – JoAnn (Tarasuik) Amico, 70, of Lynn, MA, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025 at Sudbury Pines Extended Care Nursing Home, surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer.
She leaves a son, Tony Amico and his wife Terri Amico of Holden, a daughter, Kristen Israelson and her husband Evan Israelson of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Tori Amico, Cayley Israelson, and Lily Israelson; her siblings, Joseph Tarasuik and wife Lynne of New Port Richey, FL, and Joyce Delehanty and her husband Paul of Trinity, FL; two sisters-in-law, Deborah and Lynn Tarasuik; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Bruce, Karl, and Eric Tarasuik, Dorothy Teague, and Jean Ellen Godwin. She was born in Lynn, MA, daughter of John and Dorothea (Sullivan) Tarasuik. She graduated from Lynn Classical High School.
JoAnn loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays, and enjoyed taking her family to the beach. She always enjoyed singing karaoke to anyone who was willing to listen.
Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eliot Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) - eliotchs.org/donate/
