FITCHBURG – Jason Designas, 47, of Fitchburg, died at home on Friday, April 3, 2026.

He leaves a brother, David Designas Jr. and his wife Melanie of Westminster, a sister, Kimberly Harty and her husband David of Holden; his father, David Designas Sr. of Fitchburg; his aunt Jeanette Barnhart of Eagle River, Alaska; nephews Jesse and Jayden and niece Elena.  He was predeceased by his mother, Denise (Rousseau) Lavoie.  Jason was born in Leominster, son of David Designas Sr. and Denise (Rousseau) Lavoie.   He was a 1997 graduate of Montachusett Vocational Technical High School.

Jason was a custodian at the Sizer School in Fitchburg.  He enjoyed hiking, fitness, watching New England sports, and college football. He lived in Lynn for many years and loved Lynn Woods. 

Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
